Established in 2003, Jane's Packaging Inc. has dedicated in distributing/wholesaling glassware in the North American wine industry, with target market in Ontario and eastern United States. We are a member of the Wine Council of Ontario and is the Canadian Distributor of Yantai Changyu Glass, which is the most reputable glass factory in China. Our product offerings include regular wine bottles, Ice wine bottles, olive oil bottles, champagne bottles and various customized gift bags and boxes.
As a Canadian distributor in the global glassware supply chain, we strive to provide three core values to our customers: quality products, cost-effective price, and responsiveness to customer demands. While the three values seem to be a paradox, we have developed our own business practices in the last decade to help with the creation these values.
The first value offered is quality assurance. We strongly believe that reliability is at core when it comes to supplying glassware. As a result, all of our products are sourced from well-known glassware manufacturers, who have attained ISO 9000 certification. In addition, we also employed many well-trained quality control agents, who work closely with the suppliers to further guarantee product quality.
Secondly, cost-effectiveness is achieved by our low-cost business model. As the direct distributor of glassware manufacturers, there is no middleman, thus no unnecessary mark-up involved! We also offer two distribution methods, either by deliveries/pick-ups from our warehouse or by direct container fulfillment from the manufacturers in China – another cost effective approach to suit your needs.
Thirdly, with the knowledge and understanding of North American wine industry accumulated in the last decade, we have developed our unique forecasting procedures to ensure we can supply what is needed and when it’s needed by our customers.
Furthermore, we strongly believe that a strong relationship with the suppliers also plays an important role in serving our customers. We have employed our own purchasing agents who reside on the suppliers sites to ensure timely communication of any feedbacks that our customers may have regarding the nature of products, such as the recent lightweight wine packaging policy change in Ontario. The consistent communication with the plants is another vital part of our business model that continues to improve the quality of our service and products.
While we continue to improve our service and operations, the company has looked into geographical expansion as one of its next five year priorities, particularly into the west & east coast of Canada in response to many customer interests in these two regions.
